EmergiMap Support

Click on the gear icon at the lower left of the home screen. Click “Take me to settings” (this is a guard to prevent accidental entry into the setting screen). Click Add Location. Fill in the Display name. Start typing in the Location field to find your desired location. Choose an icon. Click Save at the top.

From the settings screen, swipe left on a location. Tap the trashcan icon. Click Delete on the warning bubble that pops up.

From the Settings screen, press and hold a location, then drag it to the desired order.

The directions ARE Google’s or Apple’s. EmergiMap is a convenient way to save directions to important locations, so that they are one click away when needed. As soon as a location is clicked from the home screen, the app hands off the navigation to your preferred map app (configurable in settings).

Apple Maps and Google Maps. You can choose your preferred app in settings. Note that the app you choose must be installed on the phone.

Since the navigation is handled by either Apple or Google Maps, both of which are CarPlay supported, as soon as a location is selected and Emergimap hands off to the navigation app, yes, all navigation is visible in CarPlay. However, the initial step, selecting a location, must be done on the phone, not on the CarPlay screen.
